Silk Road & Kucina Murals Art Exhibition


Group of Kucina caves, constructed from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Tang Dynasty, belongs to ancient Kucina area. It is usually called Buddhist art of Kucina. Threrefore, murals in Kucina caves are named as Kucina murals. The achievements of the grotto art in Guizi area are reflected in the magnificent and colorful murals. Due to its age and man-made destruction, the Kucina murals have been seriously damaged, and numerous murals have been stolen abroad. Almost no existing murals are complete.
