Hermathena

Overview

Hermathena, published under the auspices of the Department of Classics in the School of Histories and Humanitie. It has been published here at Trinity College since 2000. This journal is a comprehensive academic journal which reflects the research results of Classical World, Theology, and Philosophy from Ireland, Central Europe and other country.

Aims and Scope

Hermathena is one of the most influential classical journals. It features articles about the Classical and Near Eastern worlds of Antiquity, and their extension into modern times. Contributions are welcomed from leading scholars in the field. Guest editors are on occasion invited to edit special issues on particular themes. All articles submitted for publication are sent out for peer review. Appearing twice yearly, the journal enjoys a world-wide audience.
